Pop-up Store Agency in Korea
MADE Corp is a pop-up store agency in Korea that plans, builds, staffs and operates pop-up stores in Seoul for global brands. Based in Seongsu, we run our own venue, AIRDROP COFFEE, and have delivered activations for Porsche, Bacardi and Zigzag Beauty, so your brand gets one accountable partner from concept to final report.
Request a pop-up proposalThis page is for brand, marketing and retail teams at global companies that need a pop-up store in Korea without a local office. For the wider picture, including IMC, KOL, retail and distribution, see our Korea market entry hub.
What does a pop-up store agency in Korea handle?
MADE covers the full chain in-house, so you do not coordinate separate vendors for planning, construction, staffing and reporting.
| Stage | What MADE delivers |
|---|---|
| 1. Planning | Brief alignment and objective setting, Seoul location scouting (Seongsu and other districts), concept and customer-journey design, budget structure, venue, landlord and permit coordination. |
| 2. Design and build | Space design, production drawings, fabrication, installation and dismantling, brand-guideline compliance and safety checks on site. |
| 3. Staffing and operations | Brand ambassadors and floor managers (English-speaking staff on request), queue and flow management, sampling and product handling, daily opening and closing, issue escalation to your team. |
| 4. Amplification | KOL and creator visits, social content capture, retail and press tie-ins, cross-promotion with partner brands and our own channels. |
| 5. Reporting | Visitor counts, dwell and queue observations, leads and sales data where captured, content assets and learnings for the next phase. |
Pop-ups are one of two engines at MADE. Brand Marketing covers IMC, pop-up stores, BTL, KOL and retail events; Brand Distribution covers domestic F&B and overseas fashion and beauty. A pop-up can stay a single activation or become the first step of a retail path.

Why MADE for a pop-up store in Korea?
Our own venue in Seongsu
AIRDROP COFFEE (Brand Dive Cafe) is a large cafe operated by MADE at B1, 13 Yeonmujang 7-gil, Seongdong-gu, Seoul. It hosts brand pop-ups and corporate events, which means a known space, a known operations team and fewer unknowns for a first pop-up in Korea. See the venue.
Executed for global clients
Clients listed on our site include SodaStream, Bacardi, Dewar's, Grey Goose, Shake Shack, Tim Hortons, Paris Baguette, Columbia, Olive Young, Zigzag Beauty, Musinsa Beauty, Porsche, Disney, Farfetch, Dr. Martens, Toss and The Cheesecake Factory Bakery. Global brand guidelines and regional approval processes are part of our normal workflow, and reporting in English is available.
Connected to distribution
MADE is the exclusive distributor of The Cheesecake Factory Bakery At Home in Korea and runs Brand Distribution for domestic F&B and overseas fashion and beauty. A pop-up can therefore be designed as a demand test that feeds a retail or distribution decision.
Frequently asked questions
How is the cost of a pop-up store in Korea structured?
A pop-up budget in Korea is built from five blocks: venue, design and build, staffing, amplification (KOL, content and media) and the agency fee. Venue and build usually move the total the most, so we lock the location and footprint first, then size the rest of the plan to your objective.
How much lead time does a pop-up store in Seoul need?
Lead time depends on four factors: venue availability, build complexity, import and customs timing for products and fixtures, and internal approvals on the brand side. Using a venue we already operate, such as AIRDROP COFFEE in Seongsu, removes the location search and shortens the schedule. We map the timeline backwards from your target opening date at the proposal stage.
Can MADE run the whole pop-up if we have no team in Korea?
Yes. MADE plans, builds, staffs and operates the pop-up as your on-the-ground team in Seoul, including venue and landlord coordination, staffing, daily operations and dismantling. You keep brand approval at each stage; we handle execution, with reporting available in English.
How do you measure pop-up store performance?
We agree on the measurement plan before opening. Depending on the objective, that means visitor counts, dwell and queue observations, sampling volumes, leads or sign-ups captured, on-site sales, content produced and KOL reach. Results are delivered as a post-campaign report with learnings you can carry into a second phase or a retail launch.
Can we hold our pop-up at AIRDROP COFFEE in Seongsu?
Yes. AIRDROP COFFEE is our own large cafe in Seongsu, Seoul, and it hosts brand pop-ups and corporate events. Because we operate the space, a pop-up there comes with the existing operations team and venue know-how. Contact us with your preferred dates and footprint to check availability.
Do you also connect a pop-up to retail or distribution in Korea?
Yes. MADE runs Brand Distribution alongside Brand Marketing, covering domestic F&B and overseas fashion and beauty, and is the exclusive distributor of The Cheesecake Factory Bakery At Home in Korea. When the goal is a longer presence, we design the pop-up to test demand and then connect it to retail, e-commerce or distribution paths.
